archie pulls your stores, mailboxes, couriers, warehouses and ad accounts into one place, so you stop switching between logins. Every connection uses the same strict, tested contract, so they behave consistently.
Two ways to connect
Full control with the API, or reports with almost no setup with EPI.
For stores, marketplaces and ad platforms you choose how archie connects. You are never locked in: you can switch between the two at any time from the platform's tile in Settings.
API: needed to send instructions
archie connects directly to the platform's own developer interface. It is real-time and complete, and it is the only method that lets archie send instructions back: refunds, reorders and shipping labels from a ticket or order. Ad platforms report live, more detailed spend and performance.

EPI: reports with minimum effort
The Email Parsing Interface reads the order and report emails your platform already sends you. Point archie at the right email folder and that is all: no developer setup and no technical knowledge needed. Orders, dashboards and reports fill in automatically, including your past history.
Read-only: it collects data but cannot send refunds or reorders, and ad data is typically less detailed than a live connection.
Start simple, upgrade when you need to. Many people begin with EPI to see their numbers on day one, then switch a channel to the API when they want to act on orders. Nothing is deleted when you switch, and figures are never counted twice. If API details are saved, the API takes charge and email reading steps back.

Connect your storefront and marketplaces and see orders, revenue and customer behaviour together, whichever channel made the sale. Actions like refunds and reorders can be done from a ticket or order, and need an API connection. Prefer no setup? EPI reads your order emails for reports instead.

Gmail and Outlook connect through the provider's own sign-in page, so archie never sees your password. Other mailboxes connect over standard IMAP and SMTP.

These marketplaces currently need an access token created in the marketplace's own developer tools. archie's setup screen walks you through it step by step. A one-click sign-in is planned.

Connection details are stored in your own encrypted database on your computer, never in plain text. See Security & data.

The first import of a large store runs in the background at a gentle pace and resumes if interrupted.
